Kent State track & field junior Reggie Jagers III (Cleveland, Ohio) is the Hometown Bank Student-Athlete of the Week following an outstanding performace at the NCAA East Regional in Jacksonville, Fla., this past weekend. Jagers shattered Kent State's record in the discus with a throw of 60.17m (197' 5"). He finished fourth in the event, clinching his third career trip to the NCAA Championships. The previous school record of 194' 3" was held by Kent State Assistant Coach Nathan Fanger.
