Adam Young joined Kent State in January of 2018 as director of football operations.

Young spent the 2015-2017 seasons as director of football operations at Louisiana Tech, including a year on staff with Kent State running backs coach Macky MacPherson.

In two seasons prior to Louisiana Tech, Young served as assistant director of operations at UAB.

Young also spent five seasons working with Florida State’s recruiting and operations staff. He began working in college football in 2002 as a student, spending five seasons on the Seminoles’ equipment staff.
