Field Hockeys Creeden Selected for North/South All-Star Game

Kent State Universitys Jessica Creeden (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) was selected as an alternate for the 2003 National Field Hockey Coaches Association North/South Senior All-Star Game, the NFHCA office announced today (Oct. 27).
The senior goalkeeper has started every game for the Golden Flashes in the last two seasons, amassing a 28-16 career record, with 260 total saves. Her 28 wins ranks fifth in school history.
She was an All-Mid-American Conference Second Team and MAC All-Tournament Team selection in 2002. Creeden also earned Academic All-MAC Team honors in 2001 and 2002.
Creeden currently ranks second in the MAC with 117 saves and third with a 2.18 goals-against average. She made a career-high 27 saves against No. 1 Wake Forest University on Sept. 14.
Creeden and the rest of the Golden Flashes (8-9, 6-2 MAC) are back in action at Miami University (1-14, 0-8 MAC) Friday, Oct. 31, at 3 p.m.
