Volleyball's Balanced Effort Results in Loss to Marshall

Sophomore outside hitter Danielle Holt (Galion, Ohio/Galion) continued to lead the Golden Flashes as she carded her 18th double-double of the year with 25 kills and 15 digs. Junior right-side hitter Ruth Ladurner-Schnitzer (Lana, Italy/Franz Kafka) tallied 13 kills on three errors for a .357 hitting clip. Freshman outside hitter Karry Griffin (Selma, Texas/Judson) added another double-double to list with an identical 12 kills and 12 digs, while junior middle blocker Kara Warnke (Aurora, Ohio/Lock Haven) added 11 kills. Senior libero Tarrin Pelton (Okemos, Mich./Okemos) had a match-best 17 digs.
The Golden Flashes, under the direction of head coach Mora Kanim, will host a first-round Mid-American Conference match Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. with the opponent to be determined.
