Csaszar Garners Third MAC Player of the Week Honor

Csaszar, who has won the award four times in her career, averaged 16.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots per game as the Golden Flashes went 2-1 last week. She connected on 47 percent of her shots from the floor and 80 percent (16-of-20) from the free throw line.
The junior opened the week by scoring 17 points, pulling down six rebounds and blocking three shots against No. 16/18 LSU. She then notched her third double-double of the season with 17 points, 12 boards, three blocks, three assists and two steals in a 67-63 win over Arkansas State. Csaszar ended the week with 16 points, eight caroms and six blocks in a 69-60 win over St. Bonaventure.
Csaszar is averaging 15.9 points and 8.5 rebounds per game and leads the MAC with 25 blocked shots this season.
The Golden Flashes are off for the holidays and will return to action when they travel to the Auburn Holiday Classic Dec. 29-30 in Auburn, Ala. The Flashes will take on Northwestern State at 3:15 p.m. CST Dec. 29 and either No. 23 Auburn or Alabama A&M at 1/3:15 p.m. CST Dec. 30.
