Feugill Receives Weekly KSU Accolade

KENT, OhioJunior gymnast Earline Feugill (Weston, Fla./Western) has been named the Kent State University Athletic Department Athlete of the Week for her performance during the week ending March 21, leading KSU to a second-place finish at the 2004 Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championships March 19.
Feugill was brilliant on the floor, sharing the gold medal with Stephanie Langley of Central Michigan University at 9.950. She narrowly missed her all-time best in the event (9.975). Additionally, Feugill earned a silver in the beam at 9.925.
For her performance Feugill was also named to the 2004 All-MAC First Team.
Feugill and the rest of the Golden Flashes will compete in the 2004 NCAA Central Regionals April 3, in Baton Rouge, La.
