Baseball Series at Bowling Green Canceled by Weather

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Persistent rains and a forecast that calls for the possibility of significant accumulations of snow has forced the cancellation of the Kent State University baseball team's three-game Mid-American Conference series at Bowling Green State University. The games will not be made up.

After a nearly two-hour delay on Friday, the teams attempted to get nine full innings in, but the weather forced the suspension of the series opener after just two innings and ultimately, the cancellation of the series.

The Golden Flashes (22-14) host Malone College on Tuesday, Apr. 26, in a non-conference game at 3 p.m. at Schoonover Stadium.
