Baseball Season Never Stops for KSU Players

Also playing in New England this summer is infielder Chris Tremblay (Cranberry, Ohio/Boardman). As a freshman, Tremblay played in 45 games for Kent State and is helping the Keene Swamp Bats (NH) in the New England Collegiate Baseball League. .
Eight different Golden Flashes are competing in the state of Ohio in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. Will Vazquez (Berea, Ohio/Berea), Brad Winter (Bellefontaine, Ohio/Bellefontaine) and J.J. Pacella (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy) are all representing the Delaware Cows. Also remaining teammates in the Great Lakes Leagues are Ryan Steele (Newark, Ohio/Lakewood) and Jared Humphreys (Jackson, Ohio/Jackson), who are competing for the Southern Ohio Copperheads in Athens.
Rounding out the Great Lakes players are Ryan Mitchell (Batavia, Ohio/Glen Este) of the Granville Settlers , Reid Lamport (Poland, Ohio/Seminary) with the Columbus All-Americans and Steven Davis (West Chester, Ohio/Moeller) of the Cincinnati Steam .
Steve Ross (Wadsworth, Ohio/Hoban) and Greg Rohan (North Lima, Ohio/South Range) are both competing at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Jason Patton (Massillon, Ohio/Perry), Alan Morrison (Canton, Ohio/Glen Oak) and Conor Egan (Akron, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) are all members of the Stark County Terriers in the Canton Class A League. Also competing in the Canton Class A League is Jason Seelman (Columbus, Ohio/Watterson), who is pitching for Pizza Oven. Dominique Rodgers (Copley, Ohio/Copley) is throwing for the Cleveland Mosquitoes in the Cleveland Adult Baseball Foundation.
