Flashes and Penguins Rematch Canceled

Niles, Ohio - Kent State's Tuesday night baseball game at Youngstown State was halted in the top of the first due to lighting and was never resumed. The Golden Flashes and Penguins will not be able to reschedule a makeup date.

Andrew Davis, who was 9-for-11 in his last three games against Youngstown State, smacked a single into left field before lightning was spotted during Greg Rohan's at bat.

The Golden Flashes (20-23) will look for their fourth straight win on Wednesday (May 2) when they host Niagara at 3 p.m.
