Joining the Golden Flashes this season - but certainly no stranger to Kent State - is assistant strength and conditioning coach Tim Bilbrey. In addition to his duties with football, Bilbrey will also oversee baseball, field hockey, soccer and softball.
A graduate of Kent State, Bilbrey returns to the Flashes after spending
last year as the assistant strength & conditioning coach at Eastern
Michigan University. While primarily working with football, he also
designed and implemented programs for numerous other varsity sports. He
is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
A native of Medina, Ohio, Bilbrey received his bachelor's degree in exercise physiology from KSU in 2003 and his master's in the same subject in 2007, serving as a graduate assistant with the Flashes strength and conditioning program from 2005-07. Certified through the NSCA, he spent seven months in 2005 as an intern with the Detroit Tigers.
