Eight Kent State Basketball Games to be Televised

KENT, Ohio - Fox Sports Ohio recently announced its 2009 basketball television schedule of Mid-American Conference games, which includes four Kent State men's games and four women's games beginning Jan. 17. Several game time changes have been made for the TV schedule.
Both teams will be televised on Saturday, Jan. 17 in a M.A.C. Center double header. In a rematch of last season's MAC Tournament semifinals, the KSU men will take on Miami at noon, followed by another MAC East rivalry when the KSU women battle Ohio at 2:30.
Fox Sports Ohio will then follow the Kent State men to Akron on Jan. 24 for a rematch of the 2008 MAC Tournament title game. Tipoff with the Zips has been moved to noon. Anderson Arena will host the women's side of the BGSU/KSU East Division rivalry at noon.
The M.A.C. Center will host two other televised women's games on Feb. 7 against Northern Illinois (noon) and March 7 against Akron at 4 p.m.
The Kent State campus will also host men's games on Feb. 17 against Ohio (7:30) and March 8 to close out the regular season against archrival Akron at noon.
