CHAMPS/Life Skills
The CHAMPS/Life Skills Program was created by the NCAA to support the development of student-athletes and to enhance the quality of the student-athlete experience
CHAMPS/Life Skills events include speakers on every topic from sports history to diversity to leadership. There are several community service project opportunities such as “Relay for Life” for the American Cancer Society and “Bowl for Kids' Sake” with Big Brothers & Big Sisters. Annual campus events include Freshman Student-Athlete Orientation, Varsity 'K” Career Night and “Jock Jams” concert for the American Cancer Society.
