Gymnastics ranked amongst the five most improved teams in the nation

Kent State's gymnastics team is one of five NCAA Division I programs who have shown the greatest improvement over the past four seasons. In an analysis of the pre-NCAA Championship team rankings from 2006-2009, Kent State ranks second overall for biggest improvement with a move up of 19 spots on the national rankings. MAC foe Central Michigan had the greatest improvement moving up 23 spots.

Conversely, the five programs that have shown the greatest decline include perennial powers, Nebraska, Arizona, Arizona State, and Iowa State.
