Soccer Announces 2011 Spring Slate

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State women's soccer team announced today its schedule for their upcoming 2011 spring schedule. Four dates featuring five opponents will help prepare the squad for the upcoming 2011 fall season.
The Golden Flashes will stay close to home for their off-season training dates. Kent State begins Sunday, March 6 with a 4 p.m. contest at Cleveland State. After taking a hiatus for Kent State's spring break, the Golden Flashes will return to action Sunday, April 3 against Mid-American Conference foe Ohio at a time yet to be determined.
The following weekend on April 9, Kent State will head to Cincinnati to face Xavier and Indiana State.
Kent State will then conclude intercollegiate competition Saturday, April 16 when the team hosts Tiffin at 1 p.m. at Zoeller Field. The following day, the Golden Flashes will host their annual alumni game at 1 p.m.
