Bell Selected For NFHCA Senior All-Star Game

Kent State All-American will have the chance to play against the U.S. Women's National Team
KENT, Ohio – Kent State senior forward Debbie Bell (Hamilton, New Zealand) has been selected as one of 38 players to participate in the 2011 NFHCA Division I Senior Game. The game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 19th at the University of Louisville.
This year's Senior Game participants will face off against the U.S. Women's National Team as well as against each other in a series of four (4), 25 minute sessions.
A Third-Team All-American last year, Bell leads the Mid-American Conference this season with 20 goals and 45 total points (20 goals - 5 assists). She has produced six multi-goal games on the year and also ranks ninth in the country with 1.05 goal scored per game.
The only MAC player selected for the game, Bell has been one of the most prolific scorers in NCAA history scoring 96 career goals. Her goal total ranks 11th all-time in the NCAA record book while her 212 total points are tied for 14th all-time.
The Golden Flashes (7-12; 5-5 MAC) return to action on Friday at 2:30 p.m. when they face the winner of Central Michigan-Missouri State game in the semifinals of the MAC Tournament.
