Five Game Homestand Wraps Up When Bethune-Cookman Visits the MAC Center on Tuesday

The Game
A season long five-game homestand to start the year wraps up Tuesday as Kent State (2-2) welcomes Bethune-Cookman (1-2) to the M.A.C. Center. The game is the third of four games for the Golden Flashes as part of the Joe Cipriano Nebraska Classic. Kent State wraps up the tournament by traveling to Lincoln to face the Huskers on Saturday, Nov. 24.
The Golden Flashes are looking to rebound from an 88-83 loss to Valparaiso on Sunday. Randal Holt led four players in double figures with a season high 20 points. The senior guard was 3-5 from beyond the arc while adding a career high five steals. Just 34 points shy of 1,000, Holt is averaging 15.8 points per game this season while shooting 40 percent (10-25) from three this season.
Senior forward Chris Evans added 18 points and four steals to up his season averages to a team best 17.5 points and 3.0 steals per game.
Bethune-Cookman is coming off a 71-65 win at New Orleans last Thrusday. Adrein Coleman, a 6-5 junior forward, leads the team with 14.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game this season.

The Golden Flashes travel to Nebraska for their first road game of the season on Saturday, Nov. 24. The game will be broadcast on the Big Ten Network at 9:00 pm EST.
