Kent State Baseball Normal9Cast With Evan Campbell - Episode 2
The Kent State baseball team is offering its fans an insider's view of everything dealing with the Golden Flashes with another episode of the 'Kent State Baseball Normal9Cast,' co-hosted by junior outfielder Evan Campbell (Beloit, Ohio) and baseball media relations director Mike Ashcraft.
This week, Campbell and Ashcraft discuss Kent State's big 5-0 opening day victory over No. 9 Georgia Tech last Friday (Feb. 17) and chat with Campbell's roommate, Kent State junior first baseman George Roberts (Summerhill, Pa.). Roberts got his 2012 campaign off to a strong start, batting a team-best .538 with a team-high .692 slugging percentage, seven hits, two doubles and three RBIs. Roberts posted multiple hits in each contest, including going 3-for-5 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored to power Kent State's bats in the victory over the Yellow Jackets.

The Golden Flashes (2-1) invades the Music City this weekend (Feb. 24-26) to take on Lipscomb in a three-game non-conference set at Ken Dugan Field at Stephen L. Marsh Stadium.
