Duckwitz is the lone international signee in Kent State's newest recruiting class. She has been part of the Bremer Hockey Club that won the league title in 2014 and was promoted in both 2012 and 2014. Duckwitz was also a part of the U18 German National Championships in 2012 and 2013. Her international experience is vast, as she also lived in New Zealand for six months in 2012 and played for the U18 team that placed 4th at the National Hockey Tournament.
Keller has played 79 games in goal at Elizabethtown Area High School with 409 saves, 28.5 shutouts and an 81.5% save percentage in her four-year goalkeeping career. She was a First Team All-Star and an All-League honoree as a senior and earned All-State honorable mention her junior year. Keller also played for Sutter's Brigade club team.

Sloss was both a First Team All-League All-Star on defense and also an Academic All-Star her senior year. She also played for the club team Spooky Nook that was the National Hockey Festival champion 2011-2013.
The final signee of the class, Weise played midfield/back at Oley Valley High School with 11 career goals and 10 assists. The team had a 23-2-2 record in 2014 and won the division and county championship while moving on to be the district runner-up and a state semifinalist. Weise was an All-Division honoree as a senior and also played for the X-Calibur Field Hockey Club. She was a part of the U16 Festival Championship team in 2013 and the U19 runner-up team at the National Club Championships in 2014.
The seven newcomers will help replace six seniors that Kent State will lose to graduation this year. The Golden Flashes will have a strong contingent of returning players that will try to repeat as conference and tournament champions in 2015.
