PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Kent State gymnastics team finished the regular season with a second place finish, 195.975 points, at the Fitzgerald Field House in Pittsburgh, Pa. Sat., March 15.

The Golden Flashes end the regular season with a 10-4 overall record as the Panthers improve to 10-6 with a first place victory, 196.125, with Centenary falling to 1-11 with a final score of 191.000.

Marie Case led Kent State, who scored their season team high on vault 49.175, as she took first in the All-Around with a score of 39.475. Case took first on the vault with her career-best 9.950. Case tied for first on the floor (9.925) and balance beam, 9.875.

Amiah Mims and Chelsea Drooger joined Case in the top-five on vault as Mims tied for second with her season-high of 9.875 and Drooger tied for fourth with a 9.825.

Jaymi Baxter set a career-high with a first place finish on bars with a 9.875 while Rebecca Osmer finished in third with a 9.775.

Kent State's gymnastics team travels to Ypsilanti, Mich. Sat., March 22 at 2 p.m. to participate in the Mid-American Conference Championships hosted by Eastern Mich..
