Koch Earns MAC East Player of the Week Honors

The Mid-American Conference announced Monday (Apr. 28) that Kent State's Cody Koch was named MAC East Player of the Week for his performance in this past week's five games.
Koch had a huge offensive week, batting .600 through five games with four doubles and two homeruns for an inflated 1.100 slugging percentage. He also led the team with eight RBI. He went 3-for-4 with a double and homerun in back-to-back days on Friday and Saturday. His on-base percentage was .636 on the week.
Koch and the Flashes travel to Penn State Tuesday night before returning home to face Youngstown State on Wednesday.
