Miklos Named a Candidate for Senior CLASS Award

Kent State's Alex Miklos has been named one of thirty candidates for the 2015 Senior CLASS Award in collegiate baseball.
The award recognizes student-athletes who excel in four areas: community, classroom, character and competition. The thirty candidates will be narrowed down to ten finalists midway through the regular season with the final winner announced during the College World Series.
Miklos was named a team captain for the 2015 season and has garnered numerous honors throughout his career. Last season he was named to the Academic All-District Team and Academic All-MAC for his performance in the classroom and All-Region and First Team All-MAC for his achievements on the diamond. He has been active in many community relations efforts on behalf of the team and has proven himself as a team leader.
The senior batted .279 in 11 games this season before suffering complications from an injury suffered at the end of 2014.
