Softball’s MAC Opener Moved to Diamond at Dix on Sunday

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State softball team will host Buffalo at the Diamond at Dix to begin Mid-American Conference play on Sunday, March 29. The Golden Flashes and Bulls will play a doubleheader scheduled to begin at noon.

Kent State was originally scheduled to play single games at Buffalo on Saturday and Sunday, but unplayable field conditions forced the games to be moved to Kent.

The Golden Flashes enter the weekend on a seven-game winning streak and have a MAC-best 19-6 record. The Flashes earned non-conference wins over nationally-ranked Michigan and UCF.
