Rinehart Makes Young Women's National Championship for Second Straight Year

For the second straight summer, Kent State's Andrea Rinehart has impressed USA Field Hockey as she has been selected for the organization's 2016 Young Women's National Championship.
The event serves as a high-level, international structured competition and the selection venue for the 2016-17 US Women's Under 21 National Team. The Championship will take place June 28 – July 3 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
After the 2015 competition, Rinehart was one of four goalkeepers selected for USA Field Hockey's U-21 Junior National Team Camp. Rinehart helped the Golden Flashes win both a regular season and tournament title as the primary goalkeeper during her sophomore and junior seasons. Last year she was recognized three consecutive weeks as the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Week as she went on to receive All-MAC Second Team honors and be named the 2015 MAC Tournament MVP.
