ESTERO, Fla. – Both the Kent State men's and women's basketball teams are set to compete in the 2016 Gulf Coast Showcase in Estero, Florida at Germain Arena from Nov. 21-27. The men will begin the tournament on Nov. 21 against South Dakota, while the women start with No. 2 Baylor on Nov. 25.

Fans can use the promo code "KENT" to purchase tickets in the official Kent State section. With the nature of the tournament schedule, Kent State athletics and the Gulf Coast Showcase recommend purchasing tickets for the first session in advance, and purchase the following day's tickets when the seeding is determined.
Individual session tickets for both the men's and women's tournaments are good for both games of a given session and range from $10 General Admission to $45 Courtside. Each day of the tournament will feature an afternoon session (starting at 11 a.m.) and evening session (5 p.m.), and tickets will be good for both games of a given session.
Kent State's fan section for the opening game of the tournament will be section 102. For the remaining sessions, the Kent State fan section will be in section 110.

Fans and alumni attending the tournament are encouraged to attend the pregame reception prior to the men's game against South Dakota. The reception, to be held at Bar Louie in the Gulf Coast Town Center, will run from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., one hour before tipoff. Complimentary appetizers will be on hand as well as a cash bar.
