- Tuesday's game may be a fast paced affair, as Buffalo has averaged 73.7 possessions per game, ranking among the 30 fastest paced teams in the nation.
- Nate Oats is in year two as the head coach of Buffalo and year four with the program, having previously served as the team's top assistant.
