KENT, Ohio - The Kent State University men's basketball team (11-10, 3-5 MAC) will play the first of back-to-back road games Tuesday, taking on the Eastern Michigan Eagles (13-8, 5-3 MAC) at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.

- The Kent State University men's basketball team returns to the road for a cross-division showdown with Eastern Michigan Tuesday on ESPN3. It is the only regular season matchup between the two teams this season.

- Last season, the two teams split the season series with each school winning at home. Kent State won its home game, 73-58, while Eastern Michigan won its home contest, 75-70. Jimmy Hall averaged 16 points and seven rebounds over the two games.
- Eastern Michigan has developed into a MAC West contender, winning four of their last six games. They've played a solid schedule this season, with five of their eight losses coming to top-100 KenPom teams on the road.
- Rob Murphy is in year six with Eastern Michigan, having previously assisted at Kent State from 2002-04.
