Bevy of Flashes Named To TopDrawerSoccer.com Postseason Teams

KENT, Ohio – Kent State soccer's Paige Culver, Sierra Henderson-Muschett, Kristen Brots, Jaime Eiben and Vital Kats have been named to TopDrawerSoccer.com Postseason Teams.
Junior All-American defender Paige Culver was ranked the number one overall player in the Mid-American Conference and 71st in the Women's National Top 100. Culver has compiled one of the most impressive season's in Kent State history adding First Team Scholar All-America honors, All-Region First Team, MAC Defensive Player of the Year, All-MAC First Team and Academic All-MAC.

Sophomore defender Sierra Henderson-Muschett ranked fourth, senior midfielder Kristen Brots 17th and senior defender Jaime Eiben 18th in the conference rankings.
Henderson-Muschett was named First Team All-MAC this year in her second season at Kent State and recorded the Flashes' only MAC Defensive Player of the Week Award this year. Brots and Eiben were both named to the All-MAC Second Team and MAC All-Tournament Teams. Eiben was also named CoSIDA Academic All-District Five Second Team.
Culver, Henderson-Muschett and Eiben led a dominant defensive line that posted shutouts in seven of 11 conference matches. Overall, the Flashes matched a program record with 11 shutouts.

Freshman midfielder Vital Kats was named to the Freshman Top 100 list and is the only player from a MAC team. Kats was named the MAC Freshman of the Year, selected to the All-MAC Second Team and United Soccer Coach'es All-Midwest Regional Second Team.
