Golden Flashes Head to Ann Arbor for Series vs. No. 17 Michigan
3/18/2017 10:59:00 AM | Softball
Kent State visits No. 17 Michigan for a three-game series for the final non-conference weekend of the season. A doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday and a single game will be played at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
The series is part of the stretch where the Golden Flashes (8-10) will play seven of 10 games against teams that have been ranked in the national polls at some point this season.
This is the second time in the last three years that Kent State has played the Wolverines in their home opener. In 2015, Maddy Grimm homered twice and Emma Johnson tossed a three-hitter to give the Flashes a 3-0 win in the opening game of the series.
Saturday marks the season debut of coverage on Golden Flashes Radio. Additionally, all three games can be watched for a fee on BTN Plus.
