Blue and Gold Wrestle Offs Set for Thursday at St. Vincent-St. Mary

The 2018-19 Kent State wrestling team will be on display for the first time Thursday during Blue and Gold Wrestle Offs at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron. Admission is free in the auxiliary gym with action beginning at 6 p.m.Â
Fifteen matches covering nine weight classes are scheduled.
"This is a good opportunity for our guys to compete in a singlet with an official after making weight," Head Coach Jim Andrassy said. "Between the Kent State Duals and the Clarion Open, our guys will be getting a lot of matches in next weekend. And wrestle offs will help get them in the right mindset."
