Flashes Wrap Up Blue-Gold Exhibition
Kent, Ohio – The Kent State Gymnastics team wrapped up the Blue-Gold exhibition meet tonight in the M.A.C. Center with the Blue team grabbing the victory.
Junior Jade Brown won the all-around competition with freshmen Riley Danielson and Samantha Henry finishing second and third, respectively.
On vault, senior captain Dara Williams won the event with Henry taking second place and freshmen Cami Klein and Danielson tying for third.
Brown and freshman Madison Iannuzzo tied on bars with freshman Elizabeth Fulton picking up third place.
Klein grabbed another top three finish as she won the beam with Danielson. Senior captain Sarah Lippowitsch and freshman Kendra Lindway tied for second place.
Brown and junior Sarah McCarty tied for first place on the floor, while Lindway and Henry tied for third.
The Golden Flashes will begin the regular season in Chicago, Illinois against UIC, UW-Oshkosh and Centenary College on January 13.
