KENT,Ohio- The Kent State University men's basketball team will play its final non-conference road game at 12 p.m.PT/ 3 p.m. ET Friday, Dec. 21 at Oregon State. The Flashes are 3-1 on the road this season and will look to get their second-straight win over the Beavers.

Oregon State and Kent State are meeting for the fourth time in series history.
Oregon State won the first meeting, 76-68, on Dec. 29, 1997 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo, Hawai'i. The teams played two years ago at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis with the Beavers winning 69-50 on Dec. 21, 2016 as Jimmy Hall paced Kent State with 14 points. The Golden Flashes pulled out a 79-78 win last season on Dec. 21 at the M.A.C. Center in Kent, Ohio with Jaylin Walker dropping 25 points to lead Kent State.

- This is the last non-conference road match for the Flashes before they return home to finish out the non-conference schedule with a two-game homestand.

- The Flashes dropped an 83-70 decision last Saturday against Louisville. Senior Jaylin Walker led the Flashes' scoring efforts with a game-high 28 points, scoring 22 in the second-half.
