KENT STATE GAME NOTES
KENT, Ohio - The Kent State University men's basketball team will face MAC East Division rival Ohio on Tuesday, January 20 at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center in Athens. The Golden Flashes already defeated Ohio, 70-69, earlier this season and will try to record their second MAC road win of the season. The game can be watched on ESPN3 and heard on the Kent State IMG Sports Network.

- Jaylin Walker scored a season-high 27 points against Akron and drilled seven threes to tie his career-high. It's the most points scored by a Golden Flash this year.
- Walker leads the team in scoring (17.6 ppg) and scored in double-figures for the 11th consecutive game. He has 1,130 career points which is 20th in program history. Walker has made at least one three in every game this season and ranks 6th in threes (190) in school history.
- Kevin Zabo, Kent State's second leading scorer, was held to just four points against the Zips. Earlier this week Zabo scored 17 points on the road against Buffalo.
- Kent State ranks sixth in the MAC in scoring defense (73.7) and in conference-only games is averaging 73.1 ppg. The Golden Flashes are also the seventh-best shooting team in conference games, shooting 43.4%.
- Kent State is holding opponents to 33.8% from three-point distance, which is fifth in the MAC.
