Field Hockey Recognized for Academic Success

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University field hockey team was recognized as a Zag Field Hockey/ NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award recipient on Tuesday as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
The honor recognizes programs with a minimum 3.0 team grade-point average during the fall semester of the 2017-18 academic year. The Golden Flashes, one-of-the 27 teams recognized this year, boasted a Fall 2017 term of 13 members with a 3.2 GPA or better and six students with a perfect 4.0.
Over the next week, the NFHCA will announce the winners of the Division I National Academic Squad and Scholars of Distinction.
