
Women’s Golf Selected as Four Seed in San Francisco Regional

KENT, Ohio- The 16th ranked Kent State women's golf team is headed to San Francisco, Cali. to compete in the NCAA Regional Tournament at the TPC Harding Park.
The regional tournament is set to be played May 7-9. Other regionals are being played in Tallahassee, Austin, and Madison, Wisc.
From each of the four regionals, the low six teams and the low three individuals competing,(for a total of 24 teams and 12 individuals) advance to the national championships, May 18-23, hosted by Oklahoma State University, at Karsten Creek Golf Club in Stillwater, Okla.
The San Francisco Regional, hosted by Stanford, will be played at the 72-par, 6,369-yard TPC Harding Park course. The 54-hole event takes place over three days with 18 holes played each day.
PARTICIPATING SCHOOLS
The field includes: UCLA, Stanford, South Carolina, Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Colorado, Louisville, North Carolina State, Mississippi, Cal, San Diego State, Pepperdine, Oregon, Long Beach State, Grand Canyon, Princeton, and Fairleigh Dickinson.
