Kent State Finishes Strong in All-Ohio Championships
The Kent State men's and women's cross country teams reached the halfway point in the regular season after completing the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday.
For the women, Maddie Dunlap earned her third straight top-12 finish of the season, leading the Golden Flashes to a 10th place finish as a team with a time of 21:58.3. In the women's 6k Open race, Ally Potyrala finished in seventh place (23:24.7).
The men were led by Clark Bookman who finished in 18th place (24:49.2). Alex Stamper finished just 13 seconds behind Bookman (25:02.9) in 26th place to help lead Kent State to a third place finish among division 1 teams. In the men's open race, Colton Shail led the way for the Flashes with an 18th place (26:34.6).
The teams will be back in action on October 12 for the Bradley Pink Classic.
