Cross Country Travels to Bowling Green for Next Race

The Kent State cross country teams will be back in action on Friday at the Falcon Invitational, which will be held at the Bowling Green Cross Country Course.
The women's 6K scheduled to start at 11 a.m. and the men's 8K will follow at 11:45 a.m.
Previewing the Flashes
Sophomore Michael Hanselman ran a personal-best 8K time of 24:31.6 at the Joe Piane Invitational two weeks ago and placed 18th in the 'gold' race. Hanselman's time is the 10th fastest by a Golden Flash this decade. Classmate Tanner Smith also cracked the top 100 and ran a PR of 25:26.5 for 88th place.
Junior Alexis Tracy has led the women in all three races and clocked a personal-best 5K time of 17:52.8 to place 22nd in the 'gold' race at the Joe Piane Invitational. Senior Ella McCollom was right behind in 23rd with a PR of 17:54.1.
