Softball Announces 2018 Fall Schedule

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University softball team has announced its upcoming fall schedule, which will feature eight contests, as announced by head coach Eric Oakley.
The Golden Flashes will begin their fall schedule on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 12 p.m. at the Diamond at Dix and host regional rival Cleveland State for a doubleheader.
The schedule also features a doubleheader at Firestone Stadium in Akron and Kent State will take on Akron and Ashland in a doubleheader on Friday, Sept. 21 at 4 p.m.
Kent State rounds out its schedule with a doubleheader at Saginaw Valley State and Lawrence Tech, and home games against Kent State – Tuscarawas and Pitt.
The annual Alumni Game will take place on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m.
This year's fall games will feature seven new additions to a team that finished fourth in the Mid-American Conference last year and qualified for the MAC Tournament for a record 15th consecutive season.
