Cross Country Wraps Up Regular Season at Penn State

KENT, Ohio – The Kent State men's and women's cross country teams head to the Penn State National Open in the final race before Mid-American Conference Championships.
The women's 6K race will start at 10:45 a.m., and the men's 5.2 mile race will begin at 11:30 a.m. Seven men and eight women will be running for the Flashes on Friday.
Clark Bookman leads the men's squad with three straight top-five finishes to begin the season, including a second-place finish in the men's 8K (26:12.1) at the NIU Huskie Challenge. Alex Stamper has three top-10 finishes to start the season, while Drew Johnson has recorded three top-15 finishes.
Nicole Fleming paced the women in the All-Ohio Championship with an 18th-place finish in the women's 6K (22:55.1). She has finished in the top-20 in all three races this season.
The Flashes will be joined in the race by Akron, Bucknell, Buffalo, Georgia Tech, James Madison (W), Lehigh, Maryland (W), Penn, Penn State, Princeton (W), St. Joseph's, Temple, Tennessee (W), West Virginia (W), William & Mary and Youngstown State.
