Morris Signed by Baltimore Ravens

Shortly after the 2019 NFL Draft, Kent State nose tackle Kalil Morris (Columbus, Ohio) was signed as free agent by the Baltimore Ravens. Â Morris will be in Baltimore Friday for rookie minicamp.
After sitting out the 2017 season, Morris made a major impact on the Golden Flashes' defense in 2018. A focal point of the team's new 3-4 defense, he made 47 tackles with 6.0 tackles for loss and was named to the All-Mid-American Conference Second Team.Â
Morris was also chosen to participate in the College Gridiron Showcase. Before making a return trip to Baltimore, he will receive his bachelor's degree in May.
The Ravens open their 2019 preseason schedule on Aug. 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
