Kent State and Toledo met earlier this season in Kent as the Flashes fell 84-82. Senior Danny Pippen recorded a career-high 34 points on 12-of-23 from the floor and 6-of-13 from long range while also grabbing 16 rebounds.

The Kent State men's basketball team improved to 7-3 overall and 4-2 in MAC play after coming away with an 84-81 win over Buffalo on Tuesday. The win marks the Flashes' fourth-straight MAC win. After seeing a 21-point lead dwindle in the second half, the Kent State used some clutch free throw shooting and a key defensive stop to hold off Buffalo. Senior Michael Nuga led the charge with a game-high 23 points, three rebounds, and three steals. Senior Justyn Hamilton added 16 points, while senior Tervell Beck finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, and an assist.
