
Crum Named to Davey O'Brien Quarterback Class of 2021

KENT, OHIO- Golden Flashes' quarterback Dustin Crum has been named to the Davey O'Brien Quarterback Class of 2021 as announced by the Davey O'Brien Foundation.
Crum was already on the Award's watch list, being named to the Quarterback Class makes him eligible to be voted as one of 16 semi-finalists for the National Quarterback Award.
Fans can vote for Dustin on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The top-five vote getters on each of the three social media platforms will earn bonus committee votes that will be added to the ballot. Fans must like the original post highlighting Dustin on each of the respective social media channels.
So far this season, Crum is completing nearly 63 percent of his passes for 1,770 and nine touchdowns against just two interceptions. He continues to be a threat in the running game as well, adding 368 yards on the ground and six touchdowns. Those marks all rank in the top-three in the Mid-American Conference amongst quarterbacks. As a result, Crum ranks first in the MAC and 30th in the FBS in total offense, averaging 267 yards of total offense per game.
Crum and the Golden Flashes have just over a week to prepare for their next contest. Kent State hosts Northern Illinois on Wednesday, November 3rd in a match-up of division leaders. Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN 2 and heard on the Kent State Radio Network.
