Two Golden Flashes Selected to NFHCA All-Region Team

BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Kent State midfielders Clara Rodriguez Seto and Helena Cambra Soler have received NFHCA All-Region honors, as the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced the 2021 All-Region Teams on Monday.
This marks Rodriguez Seto's fourth consecutive year earning a spot on the All-Region team, getting selected to the All-West Region Second Team alongside her teammate Cambra Soler.
Rodriguez Seto led the Golden Flashes offense with 21 points, finding the back of the net nine times on the year, scoring three gaming winning goals, and tying for the conference lead in defensive saves with five.
Cambra Soler added another 12 points for Kent State in the 18 games she started. She finished the year with two goals, including one game winner, and eight assists which tied for third in the conference.
The duo helped Kent State capture a share of the Mid-American Conference regular season championships and earn a spot in the NFHCA Coaches Poll for eight consecutive weeks.
