Kent State to Visit Division Leading Falcons on Sunday

The Kent State soccer team (2-2-0) is on the road this weekend as they travel to Bowling Green (3-1-0) for a 2 p.m. kick-off with the East Division leaders.
Last Time Out
The Golden Flashes suffered a second straight loss, falling 3-1 to Ohio Thursday night at Zoeller Field at Dix Stadium. The Bobcats got on the board in the fifth minute and added two more goals to jump out to a 3-0 lead before junior Tianna Harris pulled one back late to push the final score to 3-1.

-Harris became the third Golden Flash to score this season when she poked home a loose ball Thursday night against Ohio.
-Vital Kats will look to move into a tie for third all-time in career assists if she can pick one up Sunday. That mark would also put her two back of second all-time with five games to play after Sunday's contest.
Scouting Bowling Green
Bowling Green comes into Sunday's match after downing Miami 2-0. The division leaders opened the scoring Thursday night in the 10th minute and added their second 11 minutes after the half-time break. The Falcons held the Redhawks to just 1 shot on goal in 90 minutes as goalkeeper Lili Berg notched her second solo clean sheet of the season and third overall (she split time with backup Becky Moss in Bowling Green's win over Akron).
Series History
The Flashes have a 7-15-5 record against the Falcons, with their last win in the series coming in 2016. Bowling Green won the 2019 contest 3-1 with the lone Kent State goal being scored in the 53rd minute by Karly Hellstrom.
