
Kent State Great Josh Cribbs Honored At Luncheon

KENT, OHIO- Kent State great Josh Cribbs ('10) was the guest of honor at the "Lunch with a Legend" hosted by the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission in advance of the 2021 NFL Draft taking place in downtown Cleveland.
The event was held Tuesday and hosted by WKYC's Jay Crawford and featured Cribbs talking with the invitation-only crowd as well as reminiscing about his college and professional career. Â
Cribbs played quarterback for the Kent State Golden Flashes football team from 2001 to 2004, starting all four seasons. He is the all-time total offense leader in school history (10,839 yards), and he also holds the records for rushing touchdowns (38) and touchdowns scored (41). He is a 2010 graduate of Kent State and was inducted into the Kent State Varsity "K" Athletics Hall of Fame in 2011.
Cribbs was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cleveland Browns in 2005 where he played for eight seasons, making the Pro Bowl in 2007, 2009 and 2012. He also played for the Oakland Raiders, New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts in the 2013 and 2014 seasons. After a 10-year NFL career, Cribbs is tied for the NFL record of most career kickoff return touchdowns (8). He was named to the Cleveland Browns' Legends' Class of 2020, was a three-time All-Pro and named first-team kick returner on the NFL's All-Decade Team of the 2010s.
