McKoy Inks UDFA Deal with Pittsburgh Steelers

KENT, OHIO- Former Kent State wide receiver Isaiah McKoy signed an un-drafted free agent deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, shortly after the conclusion of the 2021 NFL Draft.
The standout receiver enjoyed three productive seasons with the Golden Flashes and now will head two hours east and try and break camp with the defending AFC North Division champions.
McKoy was a two-time All-MAC honoree and enjoyed first-team All-Conference accolades after the 2020 campaign. McKoy led the Golden Flashes in receptions, yards and touchdowns in each of the last two seasons. A big play wide receiver, McKoy led the Mid-American Conference in yards per catch in 2019 (15.6) and finished third in the conference in 2020 (18.1).
The Brooklyn native left his mark on the Kent State record books. In three seasons, McKoy recorded 124 catches for 1,748 yards and 16 touchdowns.Those marks rank sixth all-time in catches, fifth all-time in yards and second all-time in touchdown receptions in Kent State history.
Rookie mini-camps are scheduled to begin later this month.
