
Lisle Leads Strong Showing at Falcon Invite

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Kent State concluded preparation for the upcoming Mid-American Conference Cross Country Championships at the Falcon Invitational on Friday.
Graduate student Leah Lisle led the way in the women's 6K race, finishing in 22:18.6 for 19th place. Senior Nina Zraik and sophomore Sydney Gallagher also posted top-50 finishes. Zraik placed 38th with a time of 22:59.6, while Gallagher was close behind in 23:07.9 for 43rd.
Only four Golden Flashes competed in the men's 8K race. Sophomore Michael Arner (27:11.3) and freshman Andrew Biggs (27:12.0) led the way, finishing 64th and 65th, respectively.
Kent State will be back in action at the MAC Championships in Athens, Ohio on on Saturday, Oct. 29.
