KENT, Ohio – The Kent State men's basketball team will take a preseason trip to Australia from Aug. 3 to Aug. 13.
The Golden Flashes will play multiple games over the course of 10 days between Sydney and Gold Coast. They will take on local Australia professional teams on Aug. 6 and Aug. 10.
"This will be an awesome opportunity for our players," said Head Coach Rob Senderoff. "It will be an experience of a lifetime. We get to see a beautiful country on the other side of the world and play against great competition in front of international scouts. We are all very excited for this trip."
The NCAA allows teams to make an international trip once every four years. Last time the Flashes traveled was when the team went to Costa Rica in 2017.
