KALAMAZOO, MI- The Golden Flashes could not complete the sweep of the Western Michigan Broncos, falling 17-6 in eight innings on the Broncos' senior day.

Aidan Longwell, Josh Johnson and Nick Elsen paced the offense, each posting two hit games. Elsen highlighted the offense with his first homer of the season, a two-run shot as part of the Flashes' three-run sixth. For Johnson, it was his fourth multi-hit game of the series and finished the weekend going 8-for-15 against Bronco pitching. He leads the Golden Flashes with a .371 average this season and 41 driven in.

The Flashes could not avoid the big inning on Sunday. The Broncos put together a four-run second, followed by an eight-run third that proved too much to overcome. A four-run eighth sent everyone home a bit early.

Kent State closes the regular-season with a five-game home stand. First up is a welcome back to former Golden Flashes' skipper Danny Hall, as he brings in his Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets for a mid-week matchup. First pitch on Tuesday evening is set for six p.m. from Schoonover Stadium.
