LeBeau Earns NFCA All-Region Third Team Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Sophomore pitcher Jessica LeBeau was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division I All- Mideast Region third team, the NFCA announced Thursday.
LeBeau ranked in the top-5 in the Mid-American Conference overall in ERA (2.58), strikeouts (155) and opponent batting average (.198) but took it to another level in conference action, ranking second with a 2.13 ERA and .177 opponent batting average. Her talents as a batter were utilized more this season, and she slugged three home runs and had 10 RBIs.
A total of 381 student-athletes from 152 programs have 2022 NFCA Division I All-Region accolades. The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's 10 regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated student-athletes and voted for the teams. All awarded student-athletes now become eligible for the 2022 NFCA Division I All-America squads.
