
Eleven Kent State Softball Student-Athletes Named to Academic All-MAC Team

CLEVELAND — The Kent State softball program had 11 student-athletes earn Academic All-MAC honors, as the Mid-American Conference recognized a total of 109 student-athletes for their accomplishments this past season.
The Academic All-MAC Team honors student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
The Golden Flashes had an outstanding semester in the classroom with a 3.631 team GPA that is the third highest in-season mark in program history.
